A Guide to a Walk in the Woods
A Guide to a Walk in the Woods features illustrations from my BFA Drawing and Illustration Senior thesis work for the Herron School of Art and Design. The narrative derives from childhood wonder, and using imagination to explore the world.
Always start your journey with a buddy.
Sometimes the woods will choose a buddy for you.
Leave a trail as you go.
Make sure it is clear enough to follow back.
DO NOT PICK UP ANYTHING.
Leave things as you found them.
When you get to the creek, cross on the log.
No one knows what you may find in the water.
Listen close. If you hear the howl,
GET OUT!
